Hannah & Matthew - 14th February 2015

Now just what could be more romantic, than actually getting married on St Valentines Day!
Well that's just what Hannah and Matthew did!

In the wonderful setting of St Mary Magdalene Church, Great Hampden, followed by a reception at Hampden House, which is just a short walk across the driveway.

Hannah and Matthew's colour theme for their big day was dark blue, and we were able to match this lovely deep colour with a centre of white anemones with their beautiful ink blue stamens.

Hannah carried a hand-tide bouquet with anemones, white roses and white freesia and her four Bridesmaids carried posies to complement their dresses.

The fabulous dining room at Hampden House was decorated with peach and white flowers for the wedding breakfast; our tallest vases were decorated with a large ball arrangement of white roses, hydrangea.

Matthew's Mother and Sister made the wedding cake which was displayed in the Great Hall with

The Flower Room adding the finishing touches of fresh flowers which matched Hannah's bouquet.

Rebecca Daniel - 3rd January 2015

Our year started right at the very beginning on 3rd January 2015 which was the wedding day of Rebecca Daniel.

The marriage ceremony took place at Haddenham church followed by a beautiful reception at Missenden Abbey, Great Missenden.

For her bouquet Rebecca chose a handtied design with lots of Winter foliage, fir cones, berries and beautiful ivory and palest pink roses.  She was accompanied by 2 Bridesmaids and a flower girl who carried a similar selection of flowers.

In the fabulous Garden Room at Missenden Abbey, the attractive staircase was decorated with foliage garland, fairy lights and roses.  The table centres were clusters of small glass cubes with roses and freesia.

Lauren & Nilesh - Missenden Abbey

What a colourful affair ....WOW ....Lauren & Nilesh didn't it look amazing!

Lots of happy gerbera teamed up with cerise roses and bright blue gentians.  The bridesmaids wore turquoise dresses...check out the photo's from Mark Sisley below.

Lauren & Nilesh's marriage took place in the stunning surrounds of Missenden Abbey...... and what an amazing blaze of colour they chose for the venue!  The favourite flower for both of them was the happy/vibrant gerbera.  We mixed these with cerise roses and electric blue gentians. Throughout the venue we used elegant martini vases filled with mixed gerbera and gypsophila.  The ceremony took place in the beautiful Garden Room of the Abbey.  In this room is a feature staircase which was decorated by a friend of the bride & groom with multi-coloured ribbons
and to this we added sprays of the gerbera........it looked fantastic.

Tania & Alan - The Dairy, Waddesdon Manor

A 'Perfect Day' for Tania & Alan.

Tania sent me a photo of the Bridesmaid's dresses and that set the scene for this fabulous wedding.  Beautiful pink/purple colours allowed us to use the wonderful Memory Lane roses, deep purple hydrangea and matching clematis.

 17th October 2014

Sheila & Peter - The Dairy, Waddesdon Manor

On 17th October a very special lady - Sheila - married her Peter at The Dairy.  A beautiful day and an unseasonably warm October temperature greeted us at the start of the day.  Sheila was so easy to work with and her colour choice was fairly neutral and the selection of flowers was pretty much left to me.  Sheila had seen some amazing wedding flower photo's taken by Mark Sisley from a previous wedding which gave me an idea of her preferences.   Based on this we agreed to decorate The Dairy with pale pink roses and ivory hydrangea brought together with a lovely ruby red hypericum berry to give the whole ensemble a subtle autumn look.

Sheila chose a hand-tied bouquet of all white flowers - roses, stephanotis and alstromaria - with lots of diamante to compliment her fabulous wedding dress.  Her bridesmaid wore a lovely deep peacock blue gown and carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory roses, alstromaria with viburnum berries to match the fabric.

The marriage ceremony took place in the Winter Garden which houses the fabulous stone urn that we filled with flowers and a full garland of matching flowers around the base.  The wedding breakfast took place in the West Hall.  The table centres consisted of a large ball of roses and hydrangeas placed on our tallest lily-vase.

Extract of feedback after the wedding - Sheila:  'What can I say, I was absolutely blown away with your floral arrangements.  They were absolutely fabulous.  You certainly pulled out all the stops! ......it was your flowers that got them talking ...they were just superb!!!'

  Harriet and Aaron's Wedding  -  31st August

The Dairy - Waddesdon

Harriet and Aaron just loved the example designs which we had on show at a recent Dairy Open Wedding Day.  Their colouring was coral cream and pale gold and looked gorgeous, especially as we teamed it up with our fabulous stone candle sticks.  These looked amazing at The Dairy with all of the surrounding stonework.  Harriet looked beautiful in her wedding gown which was complimented with a bouquet of soft champagne and coral roses along with fragrant sweet peas.  She had to hold back the tears when I peeled back the tissue paper to reveal all the bouquets!

Comments from Harriet:
Dearest Tricia ...I just wanted to thank you for decorating our venue so beautifully with such gorgeous flower arrangements; they were truly spectacular and all the flowers and colours you chose were perfect.  The bouquets for myself and the Bridesmaids were out of this world.  When you presented them to me on the steps of The Buttery I had trouble holding it together as they were so beautiful.
Thanks again and wish you lots of luck with all future projects and Weddings.
Thanks Harriet..............

Some great weddings for 2013 - April

27th April 2013

Victoria & James at The Grove

The stunning location of The Grove Golf Club, set in 300 acres, was the venue for
Victoria & James' wedding on 27th April.  The bride carried a mass of sweet avalanche roses and sprays of diamante.  The ceremony took place in the Ivory Room where the registrar's table was festooned with a garland of avalanche roses and surrounded by bay trees studded with roses.

The fabulous amber suite was the location for the reception where we created an unusual design of white calla lillies and amazing purple vanda orchids.

 From the Bride's Mother:
Just a quickie to say thank you so much for the wonderful work you did on all the flowers.  The tables looked stunning and the garlands were beautiful.  Victoria's bouquet was perfect.  The whole day was magical.  Once again ....many thanks.  Alyson Jones

20th April 2013

Amanda & Graeme at Hampden House

Spring certainly arrived for Amanda & Graeme Atherton on the 20th April.  The idyllic settings of Wendover Church was the start of the most fabulous spring day.  We used peach tulips, roses and the most magnificent peach ranunculus.  The reception was at Hampden House, deep in the Chiltern Hills, where Amanda chose our tallest glass vase topped with an elegant arrangement for the dining room.

 From Amanda & Graeme:
We wanted to say an enormous thank you for our beautiful flowers. The bouquets, button holes, church flowers, chair backs, table arrangements (everything!) were all superb. I looked like this when they were delivered to our house yesterday morning and I smiled like this with my bouquet for
the rest of the day!
Thank you.
They exceeded any expectations I had. Will email again when we return from our honeymoon but I wanted to just say
thank you now!
With best wishes, the newlyweds!
